Kiwi Blueberry Popsicles

Kiwi Blueberry Popsicles

I love summertime with the warmth of the sunshine and longer days.

On the other hand, I could do without the bugs, especially the mosquitoes and flies, and the sweltering heat.

I’ve lived on both the west coast and the east coast and I have to say, humidity makes it hotter than it really is!

I grew up in California and visited both Arizona and Nevada. I’ve been in places that reach 118F degrees.

I currently reside in Georgia where the actual temperature is 95 but it feels like it’s 120!

You literally walk out your front door and within minutes, you’re dripping sweat and your clothes are wet like you jumped into a hot shower.

Hydration and staying cool is what it’s all about here.

Which is why popsicles are one of my favorite treats, especially these Kiwi Blueberry Popsicles.

The kiwis are sweet and tart, reminding me of lemonade, refreshing on a hot summer day. Mix in a handful of blueberries and you get little sweet bursts of summer.

Kiwi Blueberry Popsicles

Refreshing.

Tart.

Sweet.

Wholesome.

Just like other popsicle recipes I’ve made, these popsicles are made only with the goodness of fruit. No added sugars (honey, agave, or refined) and no artificial coloring.

Pure ingredients so they can be enjoyed by all this summer.

Even your pups! Just like me, my pups absolutely love them!

Cats maybe, but they’re very persnickety when it comes to food. My Thor just smells it and turns his head.

So, go treat yourself and your family (dogs included) to these lovely Kiwi Blueberry Popsicles and enjoy the warm summer weather outside.

As always, if you do make these Kiwi Blueberry Popsicles, please leave me a comment below, or share it with me by tagging your Instagram with #sweetandspicymonkey, so I can see all the goodness you create in your kitchen. Happy Eating!
