I don’t usually talk about movies here because it’s off subject for a food blog, but I just finished watching Moana on Netflix and I loved it!
Moana is one of the best Disney movies I’ve seen in a long time!
I love the characters Moana and Maui. Dwayne Johnson is the personification of Maui! The facial expressions and the mannerisms sometimes makes me think they draw the characters to fit the actors and actresses.
If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it for all ages, especially if you love the beach like I do!
To keep with that summer feeling of Moana, I made these Watermelon Popsicles.
Ha, you thought I was going to say coconut, didn’t you?
Nope, today we’re all about red, juicy, sweet watermelon because Fourth of July is this coming week and who doesn’t love eating watermelon outside while watching fireworks?
Just like Moana, popsicles are for all ages, particularly these icy cold, sweet Watermelon Popsicles.
These Watermelon Popsicles are made with only two ingredients, watermelon and water. And unlike the popsicles from the stores, these are refined sugar-free with no added dyes or preservatives.
Pure and natural from nature for a lovely summer treat that’s easy to make.
These Watermelon Popsicles are also pup-friendly for your dog, so he (or she) can stay cool this summer with you!
As always, if you do make these Watermelon Popsicles, please leave me a comment below, or share it with me by tagging your Instagram with #sweetandspicymonkey, so I can see all the goodness you create in your kitchen. Happy Eating!
